Isa Balbi is a multidisciplinary artist from The Bronx, New York and is a candidate in the MFA Studio Art Program at The City College. Her work is an inquiry on religious motifs in Science-Fiction/Fantasy Media and the allegory of religious icons in Christian and Afro-Caribbean traditions. Isa prints, draws, and paints the first idea that comes to mind after self-hypnosis in the studio and completes the work in one sitting.
